Vivint weather alerts:
Vivint, the home automation and security company that has been in operation for well over a decade now, prides itself on its customer service and the fact that it provides products and services that many other companies do not. Vivint itself can point towards many of its products that cannot be found anywhere else although we will look to just one of these: its weather alerts. If you live in an area that is prone to adverse weather or even tornados then it is highly recommended that you opt for a Vivint Go! Control Panel that can incorporate this weather alert service. The control panel from Vivint can control many different aspects of your home from automated door locks to being voice activated etc… and it also updates automatically with the weather conditions so that you will know when the weather is starting to change. While this may not seem like a massive deal to many people if you live in an area that experiences freak weather then it could potentially be a piece of life or death information. Vivint supplies products to half a million households and has surely saved many lives with its up-to-date and frequent weather alerts.
Nigerian Scam
We have all had an email at some time or another that claims to be from someone that is about to inherit a large fortune but needs money to get to the country that the money is held in. They have become known as Nigerian scams and are very common in most peoples’ inboxes however not everyone simply ignores them. This type of scam is hardly new and has being going about the internet for years and thousands, if not millions, have been duped by it and been the victim of the scam. Usually the person will be a relative of a recently deceased member of a royal family and will ask you for some money so that they can afford to travel back to the country and collect their inheritance that is tied up in a bank. It all sounds like a scam but there are some individuals who are taken in by this and will part with the money (which can sometimes be in the thousands). If you ever receive a scam email like this then take it for what it is: a scam. It will not be true and if you do go along with it then you will only be losing money.
